Social Division

SOCIAL DIVISION:

The division is focusing on Social Issues like CSR, CER & R&R which are approved and recommended by Expert Appraisal Committee (EAC) of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) for the grant of Environmental Clearance.

Resettlement and Rehabilitation (R&R) Plan is assessed with respect to project to the affected families based on National Policy for Rehabilitation and Resettlement, 2003 and as per National Rehabilitation and Resettlement Policy, 2007 (NRRP-2007). This R&R Plan is executed in collaboration with concerned State Government, representatives from project affected families and other stakeholders in the area. The brief description of the services is elaborated below: -

• Social Impact Assessment Studies for all types of infrastructure, mining, irrigation/river valley, pipeline, Chemical Fertilizer, construction and residential colonies projects etc.
• Rehabilitation and Resettlement Studies, Resettlement Action Plans for all types of infrastructure, mining, irrigation/river valley, pipeline, Chemical Fertilizer, construction and residential colonies projects etc.
• Activities to be done with respect to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Corporate Environmental Responsibility (CER) as well as Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) Plan.
• Social Issues and screening of Infrastructural Projects.
